Néolithe is developing an innovative industrial process for transforming non-recyclable (non inert & non dangerous) waste into mineral aggregates, which can be used in road sub-bases and concrete. It thus creates the 3rd way of recovering this waste: fossilization.
This process reduces greenhouse gas emissions from waste treatment by 50% to 80%. In France, more than 30million tons of waste per year could be treated by fossilization, which would allow a 5% reduction in French carbon emissions, all industries combined.

Néolithe is an innovative company in the treatment of non-recyclable waste, currently buried or incinerated. Our innovation is based on a physical and chemical process thanks to the addition of a binder, produced only by Néolithe and protected by industrial secrecy. Néolithe is developing a process to transform DNIND, by recycling them into aggregates suitable for construction. These aggregates are called Anthropocites and the waste processing unit the Fossilizer. The Fossilizer is a set of machines processing ultimate waste in order to make powder and then mix it with our binder to make waste aggregates.

Neolith aggregates, known as Anthropocite, have obtained approval from the Center Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB) for use in concrete.
Anthropocite is certified by the CSTB for use in non-structural concrete with a substitution rate of 10%. A first project has already been carried out with Anthropocite. It can also be used as a road underlayment and in structural concrete.
The use in road underlay is already the subject of a certification process with CEREMA. The waste transformation process has been patented. Néolithe has also won a few prizes such as the Pépite prize, the jury prize for Vivatech’s Next Startupper Challenge or the Cleantech Open France competition. Néolithe is also the winner of the i-Nov 2020 innovation competition, in addition to being part of the French Green Tech 20.
