The Group is based on 35 years of innovation and a dynamic R&D policy in favor of environmental excellence, beyond regulatory standards. Séché is a particularly innovative key player in industrial and regional ecology: the Group develops tailor-made circular economy solutions with its customers and local stakeholders. Séché Environnement is developing, for example, recycling and reuse loops for rare or high added value materials. Thanks to innovative purification and distillation processes, the Group regenerates, for example, solvents from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Another example: after 5 years of R&D, the Group has developed a unique process for regenerating bromine from hazardous waste (brominated effluents). Likewise, in close partnership with the regions, Séché Environnement has always been a pioneer in making our waste an alternative source of energy to fossil fuels for district heating (in Laval with the first CSR boiler, Nantes, Strasbourg, etc. .) and agricultural or industrial activities (Laval, Salaise in Isère, Rouen).
A historically recognized player in the field of waste storage, Séché has also established itself as a world reference in hazardous waste treatment solutions of all types thanks to its highly technical industrial tools. The Group operates throughout the waste chain: collection, grouping, classification through to recovery and disposal, regardless of the waste (liquid and solid hazardous waste, gas, PCB, medical waste, etc.), and to pollution control (asbestos, pyrotechnics, treatment of polluted soil and effluents) with unique expertise in the field of pollution control of buildings, natural environments or brownfields.
Séché Environnement is also the specialist in emergency depollution operations, such as on the Notre-Dame de Paris site (lead treatment), during the Lubrizol disaster or during the Grande America oil spill in the Gulf. of Gascony. The Group regularly works on behalf of ordering parties such as the United Nations or European bodies (eg elimination of PCBs / pesticides / POPs, etc.).

Séché is a committed company, whose actions have always been characterized by a high degree of environmental standards, and a very voluntary CSR policy. Since 2003, the Group has been a signatory of the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact. For Séché Environnement, the protection of living organisms is part of its DNA, the Group has worked since its creation with ecologists responsible for the protection of biodiversity, this is reflected in its public commitments such as that of Act4nature France and International, an initiative supported by the Ministry of Ecological Transition. Séché Environnement has worked for many years with organizations such as the National Museum of Natural History, the Marinarium of Concarneau, the League for the Protection of Birds, among others. Séché Environnement was the first company in the world in its sector to obtain ISO 14001 certification in 1996, when this standard was created. The Group is ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified as well as “Biodiversity Commitment” certified by ECOCERT in 2015 for all of its sites of more than 10 ha (storage sites in France).
