Our team devotes all its efforts to studying, designing, building and operating systems for the production and storage of carbon-free electricity from renewable energies in dimensions that are acceptable for the environment and on a societal level. Also, we take into account local specificities, in terms of space, water management, fragility of the local electricity network, in order to offer a harmonious integration of our systems.
We are committed to developing sustainable projects that go beyond the simple production of clean electricity, and create additional benefits for the populations that host them.
A 1st solar micro-STEP operational on the Paglia Orba platform in Ajaccio
The Paglia Orba platform, developed by the University of Corsica, CNRS and CEA-LITEN, brings together a wide range of consumers (offices, electric vehicles, housing), various technologies for producing and storing electricity from renewable energy sources and makes it possible to simulate and control micro-grids, whether or not they are connected to the Corsican regional grid.
Our first “hydraulic battery” was built at the heart of this innovative platform. This is an opportunity for us to study the integration of our system into various micro-grids and to test its performance. This installation allows our technical team to test its optimization work and to obtain an expertise on the real performances and dynamics of our battery coupled with solar energy.
