The main activity concerns more particularly the diagnosis of pollution of soils and groundwater and breaks down into various professions: study and engineering, technical assistance, audits, consulting. Envisol operates in both the public and private sectors, nationally and internationally. ENVISOL operates in the nuclear industry, petroleum industry, chemicals and shipbuilding industries. The decontamination of polluted sites and the requalification of wastelands constitute a crucial issue in terms of land use planning, economical management of space, quality of life, public health and development capacity for the economy or the habitat. The political will to fight against urban sprawl influences the future of wastelands. In 2018, the Biodiversity Plan set a new objective to be achieved at the national level: Zero Net Artificialization by 2050. In addition, it is important to note that the theme of redevelopment of brownfields is one of the priorities of the recovery plan of the state initiated in the context of the current health crisis. The tools created by ENVISOL, SCAN360® (high-resolution diagnostic) ENVIRISK® (software for calculating and spatializing health risks were designed as a decision-support tool for all stakeholders in the management of polluted sites by allowing to precisely size the pollution and assess the health risks linked to pollution by taking into account the spatialization of the pollution and the specific features of the development project.
In France, ENVISOL has framework contracts with certain large customers such as SNCF, EDF, the Ministry of the Armed Forces or EPF Normandy.
ENVISOL is involved in the work of Greater Paris for its clients NGE guintoli and SYSTRA. Mandated by Guintoli, ENVISOL has notably developed the DIAGNOSOL EXPRESS® solution, which enables tunnel boring cuttings to be managed in real time.
ENVISOL, responsive and agile, responds to the demands of clients such as IMMO MOUSQUETAIRES, CARREFOUR, EMIL FREY, Groupe Bernard and KEOLIS, by managing a large number of sites throughout France.
The SCAN360® and ENVIRISK® solutions allow ENVISOL to offer high added value services: precise diagnosis of pollution in place, development of a work design plan, optimization of development plans and support during decontamination phases. During the diagnostic phases, the data collected and their processing make it possible to consider and respond to all possible future uses without having to return to the site. These services were offered to real estate developers (BNP Paribas) and industrialists (TECUMSE, MERMET), concerned by the rehabilitation of old industrial sites or wastelands.
Cutting-edge expertise in data processing, chemistry and geology enables ENVISOL to carry out post-mine characterization and rehabilitation missions. ENVISOL notably won calls for tenders in France mandated by the BRGM and in Spain for the characterization of all their post-mine sites in Andalusia.
Its Canadian subsidiary, recently renamed SOL-IA, performs environmental data processing based on geostatistics and artificial intelligence. A Canadian grant was obtained in 2021 for the test of its Geostat-EVAL application in companies.
