Activities
The ALTHODE company provides, through its new activity SEMENTIS inaugurated in December 2022 (see www.sementis.fr) its industrial tool for the manufacture of ecological toothbrushes.
We are now equipped with a tool capable of reducing the importation of plastic toothbrushes from Asia into France with the help of an industrial machine with a high production capacity located near Angers (49). We can design and manufacture wooden toothbrushes coming from French eco-managed forests, half toothbrushes for electric toothbrushes, small brush heads for rechargeable toothbrushes. We work with injector partners capable of working with recycled, recyclable and/or bio-sourced plastics.
SEMENTIS, in Latin, means “Sowing seeds” and this is what we want to do, in our own way and on our market: bathroom objects and accessories. Sowing seeds to be more economical with resources, to work locally and to generate as little waste as possible.

We were the first to put on the market a toothbrush with a wooden handle that holds an interchangeable plastic head.
France now has 2 toothbrush manufacturers. Today, we distribute our brand J’aime mes dents ! brand of toothbrushes, accessories and everyday objects through a network of nearly 1000 retailers in France, Belgium and neighbouring countries.
On the whole range, we work in white label for very beautiful references DNVB and other brands of solid cosmetics.

Our industrial project benefits from an ADEME subsidy within the framework of the “Appel à Projets Entreprise En Transition Energétique” with our concept of toothbrushes with rechargeable heads.
We also have the support of France Relance, our region Pays de la Loire, the BPI, Initiative Anjou and our two banking partners.
