As an emergency specialist in the field of oil pollution, AMA has developed means allowing both extreme emergency intervention and treatment of pollution at the scene of the accident, while respecting the environment and at reasonable cost. These devices, which can be mobilized at any time and are efficient within one hour of their positioning, reduce the waste to be removed to a volume close to that of the pollutant discharged, while reintroducing quality treated water (such as an ICPE) into the environment. ). This avoids the back and forth of a noria of trucks, the pumping technique of which is not suitable. Equipped with a multipoint treatment capacity of 10 to 20 t / H, our mobile units are particularly suited to major accidents (industrial accidents such as Lubrizol, overpollution during floods, marine submersions, etc.).

By way of illustration: Intervention on a tributary of the Loire in the Nièvre following an industrial accident. The company responsible first requested a hydrofilling company to pump at the entrance of the damaged pipeline. However, for reasons of accessibility and lack of suitable means, the 16,000 m² of polluted river could not be decontaminated. The company then contacted around fifteen companies before approaching us. None were able to intervene urgently. Thanks to our resources, we were able to: 1 / intervene in an emergency 2 / set up an on-site treatment system to minimize evacuation to a treatment center 3 / focus the treatment on the surface of the water where the water was floating pollution and thus treat extremely polluted water, while rejecting quality 4 water / minimize the volume of waste to be removed to a volume close to the pollutant discharged (excluding macro-waste). The Prefect was thus able to accept the closure of our intervention after 2 weeks of treatment 24/24 and to order the lifting of the anti-pollution barriers set up for civilian emergency services. As an example also, we intervened following the malfunction of a heating system of an establishment welcoming young people in Maine -et-Loire. Our intervention enabled: 1 / the characterization of the pollution, by means of a survey campaign, within 8 days of the suspision of the loss of 15,000 L of fuel oil on the water table, 2 / the construction of hydraulic traps specifically adapted to surface water tables, allowing the drawdown of a much larger proportion of pollutant than what is usually practiced (piezometers), 3 / this drawdown very quickly has made it possible to avoid pollution of neighboring wells 4 / the setting up of an on-site treatment facility, making it possible to substantially optimize our treatment times and 5 / the recovery of almost pure pollutant, 6 / while discharging quality water into the environment.
