Activities

Mézagri is a production and engineering company that develops and markets selections of spontaneous microorganisms, in particular bacterial and fungal complexes from plant composts, for use in agriculture and horticulture with, among other properties :

The improvement of soil quality and in particular its physical (texture, structure, increase in useful reserve), chemical (creation of humus, improvement of the clay-humus complex, increase in CEC) and biological (increase in the biodiversity of microorganisms) properties,
Preserving the quality of water bodies by reducing the loss of nitrogen and phosphorus elements, which cause eutrophication of aquatic environments, through soil leaching,
Reduction of soil salinity,
The fixation of atmospheric nitrogen by symbiotic bacteria, as well as atmospheric CO2 by autotrophic microorganisms, thus increasing the nitrogen and carbon content of soils,
The improvement of plant nutrition (water and nutrients), thanks to bacterial and mycorrhizal symbiosis with the roots, which allows the reduction of water and fertilizer inputs,
The reduction of plant diseases thanks to more disease-resistant plants, thus reducing the use of phytosanitary products,
Composting and valorization of organic materials and effluents into humus: slurry, manure, sludge from sewage treatment plants and fish farms, digestates from methanization,
Improvement of air quality by limiting the volatilization of nitrogen and CO2 during the storage of organic matter, leading to a reduction in odours.

Among the products resulting from Marcel Mézy® Technologies, Bactériosol® and Bactériolit®, standardized organic amendments, are marketed by SOBAC and MEZAMONDE.
